The Asylum, Peckham

The holy grail of wedding venues. The Asylum in Peckham is every photographer’s dream. An old chapel, bombed in WWII, the present use of the chapel is as a flexible space which can be hired for photographic and film shoots, exhibitions, theatre, and of course, weddings. A truly unique venue in London and with an atmosphere all of its own, the light does magical thing in there!

Round Chapel, Hackney

A gorgeous wee chapel that’s, erm, round in shape. Discreetly tucked away off Lower Clapton Road, it’s a large space that is perfect for the ceremony and really comes alive for the reception party.

Union Chapel, Islington

The Union Chapel is quite unique in that it is one of the only active religious institutions that will allow same-sex couples to marry. Perfect for weddings, they also hold lots of live concerts here.

The famous neon sign grave-yard and another dream venue for wedding photographers. Totally unique, and even slightly magical, if you’re looking for something different this is definitely it!
